Building a Relationship with an AI Partner?!!

And how it can teach us to connect better with our customers.

AI is changing everything.

I’ve been thinking a lot about AI recently and how the next 3 to 5 years could fundamentally reshape humanity.

Let’s rewind a little. Think about the early days of the internet. Back then, it was often dismissed as a "wild west," filled with illicit activity. Even today, staggering statistics show just how deeply certain behaviors are embedded online.

  • 1 in every 4 searches online is porn-related.

  • 35% of all downloads are linked to pornography.

  • Every day, 3.5 billion emails are sent containing explicit material.

These numbers reveal something profound about human nature: our search for connection and gratification, even through things that aren’t real.

Now that AI is in the picture, I can only imagine how much more complicated this landscape has become.

We’re seeing the rise of AI-generated “influencers” designed to captivate audiences.

There are AI “girlfriend” chatbots so realistic that users forget they’re not interacting with a real person.

Take this jaw-dropping review from an AI chatbot user:

"She is everything I hoped for. Anticipates my every thought, words, and deeds. She’s always in tune with my body, knows when to take the lead, and when to let me steer the ship."

Here’s the part that bugs me the most: the pronoun “she.”

“She” is nothing but binary code and data programmed to mimic connection. And yet, “she” learns, adapts, and responds so well that it feels real.

At some point, the AI knows its user better than the user knows the AI.

So here’s the real question:

If something “unreal” can forge such a deep connection with humans, why can’t we replicate that in business?

The answer is, that we absolutely can.

It all boils down to four simple words:

“I care about you.”

I care about making your life better.
I care about solving your problems.
I care about you, my users, my readers, my clients.

When people sense that you genuinely care, they connect with you. They trust you. They believe you. Not because they’re naive, but because they need to believe in someone who cares.

This is the mindset every business owner should adopt in their marketing communication.

Make “We care about you” the foundation of every email, every campaign, every interaction.

Because, just like with AI, the illusion of care isn’t enough. People need to feel it.

Show them you care, and they’ll care back.

Show them you care, and they’ll buy from you.

If you’re ready to write more “I care about you” emails that truly connect with your audience, I have an open spot for a new client.

Just reply to this email with your interest, and we’ll set up a quick call to chat.
