Grant Cardone Admits: “Russel’s Better Than Me at Selling”
This is the keynote framework that made him more than $3.3 Million
“I’ve learned so much from Russel about selling.” —Grant Cardone.
I couldn’t believe those words when I first heard them.
The best salesman in the world admitting, on camera, that someone else (i.e. Russel Brunson) was better at this selling thing? And then posting it on his social channels?
Wild.
If you know anything about Grant, you know he takes his selling skills very seriously.
So seriously that when he faced Jordan Belfort (the Wolf of Wall Street) on a podcast, the entire episode was basically them butting heads, each trying to prove he was the better salesman. The same thing happened when he met with Gary Vee.
But not with Russel Brunson.
Russel played it differently.
Instead of trying to out-talk or out-sell Grant, Russel let his framework do the heavy lifting.
All his life, Russel’s been a student of the direct response marketing game.
So when Grant initially objected to some of the ideas Russel pitched for his 10X Growth Conference keynote, Russel still stuck to his framework.
And it worked.
He sold $3.3 million in just 90 minutes.
So, what made this presentation so powerful?
He used a direct-response-inspired keynote framework.
The framework he used wasn’t something he came up with a few weeks before the event. It’s a system he’s used for years to sell millions of dollars online.
He even documented it in his book Expert Secrets.
It’s called: The Perfect Webinar Framework.
Here’s a simplified breakdown (without the overwhelming details):
The Perfect Webinar Framework
The Intro, Big Domino, and Origin Story (First 15 minutes):
Set the overarching belief your audience needs to buy into. If they believe this one thing, your product becomes the only logical solution. The Three Secrets (15 minutes each):
Secret #1 - The Vehicle: Overcome doubts about the system or method itself (e.g., “Will this even work for me?”).
Secret #2 - Internal Beliefs: Address their self-doubt (e.g., “Am I capable of doing this?”).
Secret #3 - External Beliefs: Tackle roadblocks like time, resources, or external obstacles (e.g., “Do I have the bandwidth for this?”).
The Stack and Close (Last 30 minutes):
Present your offer step-by-step, emphasizing bonuses and demonstrating how the total value far exceeds the price.
Notice something?
It’s designed for exactly 90 minutes.
Of course, once you fully understand the system, you can shorten it to 30 or 60 minutes, but the framework works.
Don’t doubt it like I did.
For the longest time, I was a fundamentalist about “not selling” on stage.
But I changed my mind once I learned about a concept I’ll share with you tomorrow.
When you combine it with the Perfect Webinar Framework, you’ll be able to create your highest-selling speech.
But for now, I want to ask you this:
Would you like me to document how I create a Keynote using the Perfect Webinar and share it with you?
